Ah Yes, This Again
Bitcoin Gets a Zero Price Target. Here We Go Again
Bitcoin gets another zero price target as markets wobble globally. The reactions are familiar, the timing makes sense, and yes, we’ve seen this one before.
Okay, quick one, because this just happened and it feels very familiar. Bitcoin (currently around $66k) got slapped with a zero price target again, right as global markets are already wobbling and everyone’s pretending they’re calm while checking charts every five minutes.
The name attached this time is Michael Burry, which immediately tells you how this was going to go. Crypto people rolled their eyes, finance bros nodded knowingly, timelines filled up, and suddenly we're all back in that place where Bitcoin is either dead forever or about to prove everyone wrong for the hundredth time.
And the timing makes sense if you zoom out even a little. Stocks have been shaky, risk assets are under pressure, and globally the mood is very much not euphoric. When markets start feeling fragile, the loudest predictions tend to come back into fashion, especially the dramatic ones.
This wasn’t some big reveal or new data dropping out of nowhere. It was a warning, delivered in language we’ve heard before, about bubbles, leverage, and things eventually going wrong when people least want to hear it.
What’s important, though, is that nothing actually changed about Bitcoin overnight. No sudden technical failure, no new rule flipping the table, no surprise event that rewrote the fundamentals. Just a tense macro environment, a lot of uncertainty, and fear looking for a headline to sit under.
Moments like this are usually less about the asset itself and more about mood. When everything else feels unstable, Bitcoin becomes the easiest place to project that anxiety, partly because it’s volatile, partly because it’s still misunderstood, and partly because it always sparks a reaction.
So yes, here we go again. Another zero call, another round of takes, another reminder that when markets wobble even just a wee bit, this convo shows up right on time. Same script, new week.
